About the Unit
This unit is concerned with identifying the training needs of faculty members and participating in the organization of the process of providing training programs and following up their implementation and evaluating the effectiveness of these programs.
Vision
The unit seeks to create a working environment in the college to produce the best outputs at the lowest costs by raising skills and converting its employees from trainees to trainers and attracting the surrounding community from inside and outside the university to request training services and trainers from the college.
Mission
The Unit is interested in developing the technical and practical aspects of the faculty members, administrators and female students through the courses, workshops, lectures and any other training activities, using training competencies from inside and outside the college, and working in partnership with distinguished training centers in the field of education. For faculty members inside and outside the college.
Objectives
The Development and Training Unit seeks to achieve the following objectives:
- To determine the training potential of the faculty (who has the readiness and ability to train from the staff of the college).
- List the training needs of faculty members and administrators.
- Organizing courses, workshops, lectures and any other activities that raise the technical and practical skills of faculty members and administrators.
- Coordination to attract trainers from outside the college to hold courses, workshops and lectures within the college.
- Coordinating the attendance of faculty members and administrators for courses, workshops and lectures inside and outside the university.
- Prepare an annual plan for the development and training of the college and its arbitration and approval by the College Council.
- Develop a database for development and training at the college
