Shaqra University is one of the emerging universities that aspires to have a prominent position in the knowledge economy and the research race that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world is witnessing. Where our dear country lives, under its wise government - supported by God - a comprehensive development renaissance that touches on various aspects of development. One of the most important aspects of development is related to the clear stimulus for the comprehensive advancement of higher university education, research, development and innovation.
There are noticeable positive indicators in the knowledge and research participation issued by the university, as it represents the first building blocks of what the university, its employees and students at all levels aspire to. Shaqra University provides basic and applied research in response to the great challenges we face locally, regionally and globally, including health, environmental, social and economic challenges aimed at enhancing and enriching our understanding of this world, developing human knowledge and solving its problems.
The university, represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research, also seeks to be one of the most prominent contributors to the development of research and innovation in the Kingdom, by promoting and encouraging the participation of researchers from faculty members and graduate students in all scientific and research activities, by providing the necessary logistical and material support within the programs of funding directed research proposals. And other incentive programs and rewards, and other qualitative support programs in line with the university’s research strategy and national priorities, in accordance with facilitating procedures and services through which we seek to overcome obstacles for the beneficiaries of the deanship’s services to ensure continuous improvement of the university’s research and innovative outputs, which would contribute to raising the university’s classification locally and internationally And put its mark in achieving national goals and raising competitive indicators for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general, and research and innovation in particular.
