The Science and Technology Unit at Shaqra University is an independent research unit, linked to the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, and works as a point of contact between the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and researchers at Shaqra University, and is concerned with coordination and management of programs and research projects of the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and implemented by faculty members of the University of Shaqra.
Assisting researchers at the university to be able to register with the private portal for grants program affiliated to the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (grants.kacst.edu.sa), upload their research proposals, and respond to their inquiries regarding that.
Reviewing the research proposals submitted by researchers and ensuring that they meet the requirements for submission.
Financial supervision of the unit according to the authorities specified in the rules.
Following up the payment of financial dues in accordance with the approved budget for each project.
Continuous communication with researchers to follow the progress of the implementation of accepted projects, to ensure that they achieve their goals in a timely manner.
