Research Output

Dr. Kuriri studied the molecular mechanisms of immunoreceptors in platelets. The research provided new evidence on how PECAM-1 and CEACAM1 collectively regulate platelet-collagen interactions and PAR-4 signalling pathways. These findings enhanced our understanding of PECAM-1 and CEACAM1's inhibitory roles in the regulation of platelet activation and microvascular thrombosis in vivo.

Research Interests

Haemostasis, platelets, thrombosis, mouse models, drug-associated thrombosis, blood transfusion.

Supervision

During his PhD, Fahd provided research design support and hands-on training for MLT master’s students in the Thrombosis and Vascular Biology Laboratory at RMIT University.
