n nursing clinical curriculums, students spend more time in clinical training than nursing education and many students consider clinical practice extremely stressful. The aim of study was to compare supportive strategies for stressors among students of maternal / health nursing and nursing administration clinical training. METHODS A descriptive-comparative approach was used at Faculty of Nursing, in various universities in Egypt. A purposive sample of 4th year nursing students was chosen. The instruments used by the researchers were self-report assessment for nursing students including barriers facing them during clinical training, Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), & the Coping Behavior Inventory (CBI). RESULTS The highest mean stressor of maternal health nursing and new-born health nursing was from clinical environment followed by patient's care. Among Nursing Administration, it was from peers and everyday life. While the lowest stressor in both clinical training subjects, and students was work-overload. Problem solving behaviour and avoidance behaviour were the best supportive strategies to cope with stressors among the studied students. CONCLUSIONS There were differences in the stressors of both clinical curriculums clinical training among students due to the difference in the nature of each subject
