Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of the prophets and messengers.
The Faculty of Sciences and Humanities is considered one of the faculties of Shaqra University, which has exerted effort and scientific endeavor, since its inception in 1424/1424.
Under the name of the Community College, and until the decision was taken in 1430/1431 AH to bear the current name, and the approval of nine departments therein, four of which have been opened so far, namely, Computer Science, Law, Business Administration, English Language and the rest come successively if God willing.
In this time the college witnessed academic, scientific and cognitive excellence, during which the college sought to establish an academic institution, replete with systems, scientific ideas and advanced curricula, and produces distinguished graduates who can deal with the technology of the times and the challenges of the twenty-first century and possess its skills. The college is making good efforts, administratively, organizationally and academically to achieve its goals, and to review and develop its academic plans continuously, to reach high levels of academic and research performance, and open a wide field for our students to be more creativity and it is undoubtedly one of the most important outputs Education today.
The college has uniquely distinguished disciplines that are consistent with the goals of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, due to the interest that the Kingdom and the university attach in scientific research and innovation, closely related to national development plans and programs, labor market needs and surrounding community partnerships, from qualified and creative human cadres. The Faculty of Science and Humanities in Duhrma will always remais upporting the Shaqra University towards continuous development and everlasting success.
With the support that education in our country receives from our wise leadership, and the support and encouragement that the college receives from His Excellency the University President, we have made important achievements towards excellence and leadership determined to establish the distinguished educational institute, which began with the centers of teaching and learning, and cyber security, to raise the level of performance and achieve leadership in developing the education at the university level. And because success pays for more brilliance and creativity, we are aware of the scientific and cognitive challenges that we face, which represent a motivation for us, to exert effort and sincere dedication, and to reach the appropriate education and research level in the college, to include the talents, creatives and distinguished students, and take them to a wide participation in promoting our country.
Before the conclusion, the college, through this online portal, has the honor to show the distinguished visitors everything new about its activities, plans and programs and to constantly develop its services as an information window that guarantees effective communication.
