Inventory Control
The section responsible for monitoring inventory in the warehouses and overseeing the issuance of stock. It also monitors storage operations and ensures that items are properly organized in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures. The section plays a key role in issuing purchase orders to the Procurement Department based on predefined reorder levels and supply lead times, ensuring the timely replenishment of shortages and preventing interruptions in the issuance of stock due to insufficient inventory. Its responsibilities also include conducting physical inventory counts and recording stock issuance and receipt transactions on item records. The primary function of the Inventory Control Department is to exercise oversight over the operations of the Warehouses Department.
Asset Custody
The section responsible for managing the custody of each durable asset issued to the University’s vice rectorates, deanships, colleges, and departments to provide or facilitate specific services, including monitoring, transferring, and returning such assets.
Operations and Review
The section responsible for auditing operations, reviewing expenditures, and contributing to the improvement and development of work processes.
Secretariat
The section responsible for incoming and outgoing correspondence, archiving, preparing official letters, receiving visitors, and maintaining administrative records.
