About the Unit
The Development and Training Unit was established by the Dean of the College, Dr. Saud Bin Sahl Al-Qaws, No. 4522/36/5 dated 28/3/1438 AH, with the aim of raising the technical and practical skills of faculty members and administrators. The idea of creating this unit was followed by Vision 2030, which places a great deal on the development of the human element in all State institutions
Vision
We seek to create a supportive environment in the college to produce the best outcomes with the lowest costs by raising the skills and converting its employees from trainees to trainers and attracting the surrounding community from inside and outside the university to request training services and trainers from the college.
Mission
The development and training unit is interested in developing the technical and practical aspects of faculty members and administrators through the courses, workshops, lectures and any other training activities, using training competencies from inside and outside the college to hold training events for faculty members inside and outside the college.
Objectives
- Assess the training potential of the faculty (who has the readiness and ability to train from the staff of the college).
- List the training needs of faculty members and administrators.
- Organize courses, workshops, lectures and any other activities that raise the technical and practical skills of faculty members and administrators.
- Coordinate to attract trainers from outside the college to hold courses, workshops and lectures within the college.
- Coordinate the attendance of faculty members and administrators for courses, workshops and lectures inside and outside the university.
- Prepare an annual plan for the development and training of the college and its arbitration and approval by the College Council.
- Develop a database for development and training at the college
