In line with Shaqra University’s commitment to actively contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in accordance with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the Sustainability Office was established as the main body responsible for coordinating the university’s efforts in environmental, social, and administrative sustainability. The office aims to integrate sustainable practices across all educational, administrative, and research operations, reflecting the university’s commitment to creating a tangible positive impact on society and the environment.
- Raise awareness of sustainability principles among university staff and students.
- Implement sustainable building standards and efficiently manage natural resources (energy, water, paper, and waste).
- Promote research and innovative projects related to sustainability.
