Message
The mission of the Deanship of Development and Quality in Shaqra University is to ensure the quality, the continuous improvement and the effective performance of the different faculties and units of the university; in order to achieve the efficiency of the targeted learning outcomes of the study programs. This is mainly achieved in the light of the requirements and standards of quality on both the local and international levels in a way that guarantees the improvement of the university among Saudi and international universities.
Goals

To spread the culture of quality assurance, the concept of performance evaluation and the qualification required for accreditation through media, promotional and educational and cultural activities within the university.

To Prepare a plan to provide the programs of the university colleges for accreditation and to provide technical assistance to the colleges in order to apply for accreditation.

To coordinate with the quality units in the faculties for establishing an internal quality system, seeking continuous development and preparing for accreditation.

To establish a system of internal auditing of the colleges in coordination with the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment in Saudi Arabia.

To establish an integrated information system to guarantee the evaluation of the performance and quality assurance of the university.

To review field visit reports and quality review results from different sources.

To prepare the annual report of the evaluation of the performance of the university.

To develop a plan for programs and systems of quality assurance and qualification for accreditation including faculty members, assistants, administrators and technicians in university faculties.

To conduct periodic field visits to follow the technical aspects of the internal quality systems.

To apply the university strategy in quality (vision, mission, goals and objectives).

To provide guidance and advisory services to the colleges and administrations concerned about quality assurance and accreditation.

To review documents and forms in order to meet the standards prepared by the colleges annually.
