Ahmed Faried is currently an associate professor of Plant Taxonomy and Flora, Botany and Microbiology Department, Faculty of Science, Assiut University, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. in science at Assiut University in 2013 and his master’s degree in 2006. He spent the academic year 2007/2008 as exchange student within the Linnaeus-Palme program at Södertörns Högskola University College in Sweden. His main research interests focus on plant systematics, plant diversity, Macro- & Micro-morphology of plants and molecular systematics in Angiosperms.

Currently: He is an associate professor at biology department, college of science and arts, Sajir, Shaqra University.
