Praise be to Allah, the source of knowledge and illumination for humankind. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is His Servant and Messenger, commanded to “recite”, as the first word revealed to him in the Quran.
There are numerous texts from the Quran and Prophet’s Tradition that urge us to seek knowledge, show the merits of knowledge and knowledge seekers, and encourage and promise great rewards to people who learn and spread knowledge.
It is my pleasure to write this short note on the website of the College of Science and Arts (Sajir), hoping that this site will help and achieve the desired goals, and praying to Allah Almighty to reward these endeavours and guide the steps for all good. God bless!
