Bachelor of Computer and Network Engineering (BCNE) Program
The College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT) at Shaqra University (SU) was established in 1434 H (2014 G) with a commitment to delivering high-quality education and research that serve the community and contribute to national development.
The Bachelor of Computer and Networks Engineering (BCNE) program was founded on 11/07/1429 H under the College of Engineering in Al-Dawadmi, and later transferred on 15/04/1438 H to the College of Computing and Information Technology at Shaqra University. The program began student enrollment on 02/01/1441 H, and the first cohort graduated in 1445 H, marking an important milestone in its development. Admission is offered only in the first semester of each academic year.
The BCNE program provides a comprehensive curriculum covering key areas such as Networks, Cybersecurity, and Robotics, combining theoretical and practical learning to prepare graduates for the dynamic technology sector. The program promotes a collaborative learning environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and professional excellence, supported by a qualified team of professors, associate professors, and assistant professors.
The BCNE program aims to play an active role in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by preparing graduates who can contribute to the digital transformation and technological advancement of the Kingdom. Its graduates are equipped with the knowledge, technical competencies, and problem-solving skills required to excel in computer and network engineering fields, whether in governmental organizations or the private sector.
