To graduate students with linguistic , literary , rhetorical and critical qualifications, and who are able to apply this knowledge in the areas of research, and all fields of work that require the employment of the Arabic language to serve human societies. 

To contribute actively in meeting the needs of the country of qualified personnel with specialized postgraduate studies. 

To work for the benefit of the individual and society, through the holding of seminars, and the establishment of training courses in the field of Arabic language and literature. 

To graduate a generation of intellectually and creatively qualified students to serve their language and nation. 

To qualify specialists in the teaching of the Arabic language with special knowledge and who are capable of performing their mission and carrying out their work. 

To work on the rehabilitation of teachers combining language sciences, and contemporary educational trends. 

To support the movement of cultural communication among the Arab peoples through literary and intellectual salons that deal with the issues of the nation. 

To activate the role of the Arabic language to be the official language of correspondence, posters and advertisements.
