Introduction

STUDIES & CONSULTING SERVICES INSTITUTE(SCSI) was established pursuant to the resolutions of Shaqra University Council (2nd Meeting for the year 1431/1432 AH, dated 23/01/1432), reflecting a similar tendency in other Saudi universities and in response to growing needs at a national level. SCSI has come into being to be the main representative of Shaqra University (SU) administration to conduct and implement counselling studies and services provided by SU in contribution to the development of the society and the public and private sectors. SCSI takes advantage of the academic expertise and material resources of the University to boost SU revenues and play a significant role in local and national development. It strives to achieve the strategic goals set by SU for SCSI and serve as an interaction gateway linking SU with the community and the public and private sectors at professional and distinguished levels.
