This course explores the basic concepts and steps in the scientific research process. The research approaches and their implication to nursing are discussed. Methods of data collection, sampling and how to choose them are also addressed the course also provides nursing students with competencies necessary to read, evaluate, and interpret findings of nursing research studies .
