This course focuses on providing student with the necessary nursing skills to provide care for emergencies and common accident, the application of skills will take place in emergency setting. The theoretical part of the course addresses studying the fundamentals of emergency care and methods of evaluation and classification of clients according to degree of risk, including the foundation of CPR and its applications, wound care and burns of all types and degree, poisoning, fractures, coma and the change in temperature and methods of treatment, with emphasis on the role of nursing care in emergency situation.
