A Consultant and Assistant Professor of Medical Microbiology in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Shaqra University. I hold a PhD in Bacteriology and Immunology from the University of Glasgow, UK, and am certified as a Consultant in Medical Microbiology (Bacteriology and Immunology) by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. I have held several administrative positions both within and outside Shaqra University. I also hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Microbiology from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK (2015), and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from King Saud University (2011).

My scientific expertise includes bacterial isolation and identification, evaluation of antibiotic resistance and biofilm formation, the study of mobile genetic elements (MGEs) and bacteriophages in bacteria, gene cloning and modification, protein production and purification, protein crystallization, and bioinformatics.
