محمد ارشد زاهر احمد

Dr. Mohammad Arshad, is working as a faculty member at the Department of Basic Sciences, College of Medicine, Dawadmi, Shaqra University, KSA. He has been awarded the PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) degree in January 2014, from the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences, Jamia Millia Islamia (RANKED NO.1 UNIVERSITY IN INDIA), New Delhi, India. He has been actively participated in research activities and presented his work in various National/ International seminars and conferences and published more than 40 research articles in journals of repute. He has been worked as Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, and Research Associate on some projects Granted by the University Grant Commission, Govt of India, and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt of India. He is the recipient of National fellowships Like  Maulana Azad National Junior Research Fellowships and Maulana Azad Senior Research Fellowship, Govt. Of India. He has acted as Principal Investigator and Supervisor on some projects and has good experience of working as an individual as well as the team member. Currently, he is engaged in research activities on some projects aiming at the designing of new antimicrobial chemotherapeutic agents, the prevalence of the disease among the population in Saudi Arabia.  He is also serving as an advisory board member of Mini-Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry, Letters in Organic Chemistry, European journal Pharmaceutical and Medical Research,  and Journal of Drug Design and Medicinal Chemistry and reviewers of many reputed journals. He is the member of some reputed Scientific Societies (Royal Society of Chemistry, American Chemical Society, Saudi Arabian Chapter of Chemistry-American Chemical Society, India Science Congress Association etc.).
