Research interests:

Oil-flow electrification in electric power apparatus, fundamental aspects of the electrical double layer and its modeling, power system overvoltage, generation and measurement of impulse voltage, characterization of impulse voltage, modeling of power transformers, finite-element method simulation of underground cables, condition monitoring of surge arresters, optimization of distributed generators, and presaturated core fault current limiters (PCFCLs).
