Attallah Mordhi Alanazi

I am Attallah Mordhi Alanazi, a faculty member at the English Language Department in the College of Science and Humanities in Thadiq and Al-Mahmal Governorate. I hold a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom (2023), a Master's degree in English Language: Second Language Studies from the State University of New York in the United States (2011), and a Bachelor's degree in English Language from King Saud University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2007). My research interests include, but not limited to, sociolinguistics, English as a lingua Franca, Global Englishes, language ideologies and identities, English language teaching policies and power relations in language use. I would be delighted to communicate with you about potential research projects and proposals that fall within my scientific specialization, as well as any other inquiries.
