Dr. Aslam Pathan is a Head of the Scientific Research Unit; Ex-Coordinator at the Department of  Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and Ex-Co-coordinator at the Quality and Accreditation Unit at the College of Medicine, at Shaqra, Shaqra University, Saudi Arabia. He received his D. Pharm from Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, India; Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pune, India; Master's degree in Pharmacology and Ph.D. in Pharmacy / Pharmacology from the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, India. He earned a full-time Ph.D. degree under the Maulana Azad National Fellowship. He has more than 70 research publications published in reputed journals with an impact factor of more than 290.

Pharmacology, Neurosciences, Neuropharmacology, Behavioural sciences, Neurotransmitters, Neurodegenerative disorders, Molecular Pharmacology, Animal Models and Synaptic Physiology

Neurosciences and Neuropharmacology: A systematic review and network meta-analysis for the evaluation of safe and acceptable therapeutic regimen for the management of various neurodegenerative disorders including Parkinson’s disease, Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, and Multiple sclerosis

Assessment and evaluation of new natural/herbal drugs for their anxiolytics, and antidepressant activity by using authenticated in vivo & in vitro animal models.

Assessment and evaluation of new natural/herbal drugs and their usefulness in various neurodegenerative disorders including Parkinson’s disease, Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, and Multiple sclerosis by using authenticated in vivo & in vitro animal models.

Respiratory System: Assessment and evaluation of new natural/herbal drugs and their usefulness in bronchial asthma by using authenticated in vivo & in vitro animal models.

Anticancer: Assessment and evaluation of new natural/herbal drugs for their cytotoxic and anti-cancer activity in different cell lines.

Others: Assessment and evaluation of new natural/herbal drugs for diabetes mellitus, oral anticoagulants, estrogenic activity, and anti-ulcer potentials. Pharmacogenomics, Pharmacodynamics, and Pharmacokinetics Study of drug molecules.
