         The Topic of Research: ‘A Study of Semantic Change of Arabic Elements Used in Urdu’.

         Supervisor: Prof. Masood Ali Beg, Professor, Aligarh Muslim University.

• M.A. in Linguistics with 1st division (70.1 %) from Aligarh Muslim University, in 2011.
• B.A (Hons.) in Linguistics, English, and Economics with 1st division (62.2 %) from Aligarh Muslim University, in 2009.
•  Intermediate (XIIth) with 1st division (67.2 %) from UP Board with subjects Hindi, English, Geography, Education, Sociology, Sports & physical education in 2006.

 Worked as a Guest Faculty in the Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India in the session 2013-2014.  

 Worked as an Assistant Professor, Department of English, Purnea University, Purnia, Bihar, India from January 2018 till 15th, October 2019.

 Working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Shaqra University, Shaqra, KSA, from 23rd October 2019 till date.

Presented a paper in a National conference SCONLI-7 “Semantic Change in Urdu: A Socio Linguistic Impact on Lexical Borrowing from Arabic to Urdu”8th-9th February 2013, organized by Department of Linguistics, AMU in collaboration with CIIL, Mysore.

Presented a paper in a 37th Annual International conference LSN entitled “Semantic Change in Language Borrowing: The case study of Arabic borrowed words in Urdu”, 26th-27th, November 2016, organized by Linguistic Society of Nepal, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Presented a paper in a three-day international conference on ‘Mediatization, Culturalization and Language Alteration’ entitled “Stylistics Analysis of the song: Ae Dil hai Mushkil” organized by the Department of Linguistics, A.M.U. in collaboration with ICSSR, New Delhi from 5th-7th January 2017, A.M.U, Aligarh.

Presented a paper in an International Conference SCALLT-1 “Social influences on second Language learning” organized by Department of Linguistics, A.M.U. 18th-19th March 2017.
