As part of the community engagement role of the College of Medicine in Al-Dawadmi in providing health awareness and serving the local community,
the College of Medicine – Shaqra University organized an awareness exhibition on the occasion of World Parkinson’s Day on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Almakan Mall in Al-Dawadmi City.
This exhibition aimed to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease, introduce its symptoms, causes, and prevention methods, as well as highlight the importance of early detection and improving the quality of life for those affected by the disease.
The exhibition was well received and appreciated by visitors, who expressed their gratitude for the efforts made and their interest in attending more awareness events organized by the college in the future, recognizing the positive impact such initiatives have in spreading health education and promoting community awareness.
