Our vision is to be the center of excellence for nursing and clinical laboratory science (CLS) research in Shaqra University and to contribute to the nation’s research capabilities in nursing and health.
Mission
Our mission is to cultivate a culture of advanced professions in nursing, CLS and health through innovative, novel, transformative, creative, and need-driven research anchored on the country’s Vision 2030.
Objectives

Generate, disseminate, and apply research findings relevant to Saudi societal health needs through local and international collaborations;

Build the capacity of Saudi and non-Saudi nurse and clinical laboratory scientist researchers in developing and implementing timely and relevant research agenda; and
-
Create opportunities such as research grants for the college’s faculty and students in contributing solutions to health-related problems in the community.
Responsibilities

Develop a strong research culture in the college;

Improve the capacity of faculty and students on research through mentoring and lectures;

Increase the research involvement of faculty and students;

Assist in securing research grants;

Establish local and international collaborations;

Promote evidence-based practice in nursing and CLS through research dissemination and utilization;

Improve research dissemination through ensuring the publication of research findings in reputable (Scopus- or ISI-indexed) journals; and
-
Encourage faculty and students to conduct research for presentation at local, national and international conferences.
