About the Unit

The Development and Quality Unit is one of the main units of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Dawadmi. It aims to spread the culture of quality in college and provide effective support for continuous improvement in all academic aspects, by applying quality concepts, continuous development and working in teamwork.

The Development and Quality Unit strives to lead the development of academic performance in order to achieve local and international accreditation

Mission

Spreading the culture of quality in the college and providing effective support for continuous improvement in the educational process, research and community service through the dissemination and application of quality concepts

Objectives

1. Setting the general policy to evaluate the performance and ensure the quality of the college and implementation follow-up.

2. Disseminate quality culture in the college community.

3. Developing the skills of the faculty members, and staff.

4. Follow up the college performance indicators for continuous improvement.

5. Evaluate the quality of all programs and courses at the college.

6. Developing the educational process in order to raise the efficiency of the graduate and support his competitiveness.

7. Effective communication with centers of quality assurance and accreditation.

8. Prepare self-study and annual reports.

Responsibilities

1. Preparation of the College's operational plan

2. Formation of a follow-up team to follow the operational plan implementation

3. Prepare a report on the completion of the operational plan

4. Celebrating World Quality Day

5. Conducting all quality questionnaires

6. Preparation of academic accreditation requirements for nursing program and medical laboratories

7. Raising awareness of the concept and importance of total quality through training courses on the concept of total quality in the educational process

8. Preparing self-study reports and self-evaluation criteria for nursing programs and medical laboratories

9. Review the specification of nursing and laboratory programs

10. Review the specification of courses in nursing and laboratory programs
