About the Unit
Strategic Planning; is a long-term planning characterized by high quality and takes into consideration all external and internal changes affecting nursing department, college and university.
Vision
Continuous improvement in the performance of nursing program at the department level and the college level.
Mission
To develop the strategic plans necessary to develop scientific research opportunities for students and academics in the nursing program and the college.
Objectives
- Spread the culture of strategic thinking in the section.
- Spread the culture of strategic planning in the department.
- Assist in decision-making within the department.
- Develop a five-year strategic plan for the department.
- Follow up the implementation of the stages of the strategic plan of the department.
- Contributing to solving problems in the department.
- Support all faculty members and program stakeholders.
- Contribute to the strategic planning in the collage.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of the strategic plan of the program.
- Development of sets of performance indicators for the Strategic Plan.
- Monitoring the achievement of performance indicators in relation to the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of any strategic plans for the department and the college in the future.
- Prepare appropriate reports and questionnaires to measure the views of stakeholders within and outside the college.
- Identify the dedicated multidisciplinary strategic planning groups responsible for preparing any future plans.
- Contribute to the cooperation and partnership agreements between the department and the college and any national and international higher education institutions.
- Contribute to the development of a strategic plan for the college to develop all elements of education, learning, scientific research and community service.
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual reports of the strategic plan of the College.
- Develop policies and mechanisms to ensure continuous development and improvement
- Formulating the vision and mission of the college and its strategic objectives.
- Develop a policy and mechanism to ensure continuous updating as required by the surrounding variables.
- Determine the policies and mechanisms that lead to the achievement of the strategic objectives and strategic plan in the department and the college.
