About the Unit
Based on the mission of huraimla community college for providing distinguished educational services and preparing qualified graduates, the college administration considers the academic counciling to be an important component in the educational process. Academic counseling ensures holding an interactive relationship between the student and his or her academic tutor to ensure the success of the students’ academic journey and ensure their achievement of learning goals
Vision
The academic counseling unit in Huraimla Community College should be distinguished and bioneer in controlling and improving the process of academic counciling at the faculties of Sgaqra University and the Saudi universities in general.
Mission
Provide a package of integrated services for students during their studies tobenable them to deal with and interact with the plans and programs offered by the college, the thing that help to graduate national competencies of high quality correspond to the requirements of the labor market and the needs of society
Objectives
- Help the student to know the value of the university experience..
- Prepare the student with his/her new university environment.
- Provide the student with the correct information about the college, educational policy, resources and study programs..
- Help students to improve their academic skills to overcome academic difficulties.
- Follow up the progress reports of students during their studies and evaluation.
- Strengthening the student's capabilities in his/her field of specialization.
- Help students to deal with their own problems that affect their course path.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and activating the academic counseling and distributing the students to tutors.
- Forming a team to organize and hold orientation sessions for new students.
- Educate students in the process of deleting and adding.
