Dr. THIPPESWAMY B. S. M.PHARM, PhD. presently working as ASST Professor, Head of Dept of biomedical sciences, College of Pharmacy, Shaqra university. Al-Dawadmi. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Objective
  • To establish myself in the pharmaceutical profession, where I can utilize my acquired knowledge and skills in pharmacological research and developments.

Research Interests and activities

  • PhD with expertise in Drug Research & Development as a pharmacologist and toxicologist in a distinguished career spanning more than 17 years.
  • The expertise includes Developing Various Animal Models for Pharmacological evaluation of Natural & Synthetic Compounds for various human disorders such as Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders, Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Disorders.
  • Expertise in development of Pre-clinical strategies, for drug discovery pipeline, including Drug metabolism & Pharmacokinetic studies, Exploratory and Regulatory Toxicity Studies and Safety Pharmacological studies to Identify and develop early clinical candidates for various human disorders.
  • The research so far carried out resulted in 70 international and national publications of repute. Apart from this 35 research papers were presented in national and international conferences and served as a resource person in 30 national and international conferences/workshops. Also serving as a reviewer for more than 20 journals.
