        • Developed and validated several models for screening in the areas Neuroprotective, cardioprotective renoprotective, hepatoprotective and ulcerative colitis, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders.
        • Experiences in conducting general pharmacological screening assays and various toxicological studies.
        • Molecular biology techniques, such as isolation and estimation of DNA or RNA, ligation of DNA, Restriction and digestion of DNA, Isolation of plasmids, PCR amplification, Western and Northern blot techniques and In Vitro genotoxicity studies.

        • Working as Principal co-investigator in the Project entitled “Herbal Drug Research” to establish “Centre of Excellence in Herbal Drug Development” under Establishment of Centres of Excellence in Science, Engineering and Medicine (CESEM), funded by VGST, DST, Govt. of Karnataka, grant amount: 60 Lakhs.  Duration:  3 years (June 2010 to March 2013).
        • Working as Principal investigator in the Project entitled “Evaluation of herbs with high level of heavy metals contamination for potential sub acute toxicity studies in experimental rats” funded by Ayurvidye Bangalore Research and Training Trust Bangalore. Karnataka, grant amount: 0.80 Lakhs.  Duration:  1 year (June 2012 to March 2013).
