My name is Dr. Sudharshan Reddy Dachani, and I currently serve as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacology at the College of Pharmacy, SHAQRA University, Saudi Arabia. I previously held the position of Associate Professor and Head of the Pharmacy Practice/Pharmacology department’s Pharm.D program at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) in Hyderabad, India. I hold a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacology) from JNTU Hyderabad,  I have extensive experience guiding Pharm.D, B. Pharm, and M. Pharm students through research projects and internships, helping them successfully navigate both theoretical and practical aspects of their education. I have authored over 45 peer-reviewed international research articles in renowned journals indexed in Web of Science, ISI, and Scopus, in addition to two book chapters. I have also been awarded research grants and fellowships for institutional/annual projects (2021 and 2025). My research interests lie in preclinical and clinical studies related to metabolic disorders, particularly diabetes and its complications such as diabetic foot ulcers and related conditions. I also focus on the pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and toxicological evaluation of herbal and natural medicines. I have a keen interest in scientific medical writing, drug interaction studies, and Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) monitoring. I have taught and managed a variety of courses, including Advanced Therapeutics, Clinical Research, Toxicology, and various aspects of Pharmacy Practice.
