1. Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department

• The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department focuses on fundamental concepts related to physical, chemical, and biological processes associated with pharmaceutical agents and drug discovery. The curriculum adopts an interdisciplinary approach that includes general chemistry, pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry, and quality control.

2. Pharmacognosy Department

• Pharmacognosy is a core discipline in pharmacy that deals with the study of drugs derived from natural sources, including plants, animals, marine organisms, and microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi.

3. Pharmaceutics Department

• Pharmaceutics is a fundamental pharmaceutical science concerned with the technological aspects of designing and manufacturing dosage forms. The department focuses on the development of safe and effective drug delivery systems, aiming to optimize drug bioavailability and therapeutic performance.

4. Pharmacological Sciences Department

• The department provides instruction in pharmacology, toxicology, and biostatistics for PharmD students. Pharmacology explores drug actions on biological systems, including mechanisms of action, receptor interactions, drug dynamics, and adverse effects. Toxicology emphasizes the study of harmful drug effects and clinical management of poisoning. Biostatistics is introduced as a key analytical tool supporting scientific research and evidence-based practice in health sciences.

5. Clinical Pharmacy Department

• The Clinical Pharmacy Department aims to advance comprehensive pharmaceutical care through excellence in theoretical education, practical training, and research in patient care and public health. It collaborates with other departments to support both the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) programs.
