About the Committee
The Clinical Training Committee of the College of Pharmacy is committed to ensuring the quality and smooth performance of the clinical training program for Pharma D students, including the IPPE and APPE skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement guidelines and policies for the clinical training program approved by the Department of Quality and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
- Ensure the quality of the clinical training program to meet national and international accreditation standards.
- Organizing periodic meetings to plan and review the clinical training program policies and guidelines to improve skills that deliver learning outcomes for students.
- Review and update the clinical training manual for training students.
- Prepare the list of qualified students for the clinical training program and locate the training according to the needs of a specific field of rotation for clinical training.
- Prepare and issue letters to training students based on the required training site (s). Also contact with trainers at different training sites.
- Organizing the reception and guidance of the students of the clinical training program before the start of the program.
- Prepare the clinical training program schedule and evaluate each clinical training course. Also examine the final results of the students in each clinical training session at the end of each semester.
- Follow up students who have successfully completed their training courses on their status and conduct further studies on them.
- Develop evaluation methods, ensure quality and promote clinical training program. Also reporting to the quality department on time.
