Department Overview:
The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department is one of the core academic pillars of the College of Pharmacy. It focuses on studying the physical and chemical properties of pharmaceutical compounds and analyzing the relationship between the chemical structure of drugs and their biological activity.
The department offers a comprehensive range of courses, including general chemistry, pharmaceutical organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, medicinal chemistry, as well as courses in drug quality control and pharmaceutical analysis. These aim to establish a solid scientific foundation for students in drug design, development, and analysis.
