About the Committee
The Library and Learning Committee provide access to books, journals and e-learning resources for students and faculty members of the College of Pharmacy. The Committee also ensures that all educational materials are available to meet with the Pharm D program.
Responsibilities
- Develop policies and regulations governing library functions.
- Keep the main book record, record the issued books, record the book to use the library by students and staff.
- Holding periodic meetings to ensure the proper functioning of the Committee
- Disseminate education for the effective use of library services and resources.
- Conduct physical verification of books, magazines and other resources annually and notify the college administration if any materials are misplaced.
- Prepare the budget and proposals for the list of library requirements for the college annually.
- Purchase of textbooks, magazines and e - learning resources of the library.
- Communicate with vendors to get quotes, buy new books and other resources annually.
- Maintain records of all documents related to the library and submit them to the Quality Management.
- Implementation of library policies - the policy of purchasing library materials, the bank's financial policy and the policy of access to electronic resources.
