As part of the Learning Resources Department's commitment to promoting a spirit of giving and appreciation, a special ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, to honor the library's volunteer team.

The ceremony recognized the team members' significant efforts and effective contributions over the past period.

The ceremony was attended by a number of university staff members, employees, and students. The Director of Learning Resources, Ms. Sheikha Ghunaim Al-Mutairi, and the staff of the Central Library in Shaqra expressed their gratitude to the team members for their social and cultural initiatives, which contributed to supporting the community and raising intellectual and cultural awareness.

The ceremony included a visual presentation of the team's most notable achievements, followed by the distribution of gifts to the volunteer members as an expression of gratitude for their time and effort in serving the community and library patrons without compensation.

This honor comes in the context of motivating volunteers to continue giving and affirming the importance of volunteer work in building communities and strengthening national cohesion.

At the end of the ceremony, commemorative photos were taken amid an atmosphere of pride and happiness, affirming the continuation of the spirit of cooperation and initiative in future projects, God willing.
