The college was established in 1413 AH in Al-Dawadmi Governorate under the name of "Intermediate Health Institute" affiliated with the Ministry of Health. In 1428 AH, this institute developed into an "Intermediate Health College" granting a diploma in nursing and public health. After that, Royal Decree No. 11032 was issued, which stipulated the inclusion of all health colleges and institutes under the Ministry of Education. Based on this decision, the college joined King Saud University under the name "College of Health Sciences". Less than two years later, Royal Decree No. 7305 was issued by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on him - dated 3-9-1430 AH, stipulating the establishment of Shaqra University, so that the college would move under the umbrella of Shaqra University with its current name *College of Nursing in Al-Dawadmi*

Oversees the development and implementation of quality systems, ensures compliance with accreditation standards, tracks performance indicators and continuous improvement plans, and coordinates self-evaluation and internal/external reviews.
Strategic Planning Unit
Prepares and periodically reviews the college’s strategic plan, aligns initiatives with university priorities, and tracks goal execution through measurable KPIs and risk management
Statistics and Measurement Unit
Builds accurate databases, manages measurement and statistical analysis for educational and research inputs/outputs, and issues periodic decision-support reports.
Student Training Unit
Coordinates clinical and field training with healthcare providers, ensures site readiness and the quality of supervision and assessment, and monitors students’ compliance with safety and professional practice requirements.
Skills Development Unit Manages programs for developing clinical, research, digital, and communication skills; oversees skills and simulation labs; and schedules accredited workshops and courses.
Learning Resources, Facilities, and Equipment Unit Provides and updates learning resources, databases, and laboratories; coordinates equipment maintenance and needs/expansion planning in line with safety and quality standards.
