Specializations in Civil Engineering
Our Civil Engineering program is designed to cater to diverse interests and career aspirations. We offer five distinct tracks, each focusing on a critical area of civil engineering. Currently, two of these tracks are active and available for students to pursue:
Structural Engineering Track: Delve into the design, analysis, and construction of structures, understanding how to create frameworks that are both strong and efficient.
Geotechnical Engineering Track: Explore the science of soil and rock mechanics, learning to design foundations, earthworks, and other structural systems interacting with ground material.
Although we have plans for future offerings in Construction Engineering and Management, Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, and Transportation Engineering, these tracks are not currently active.
Selection of Specialization Track: Students have the opportunity to choose their specialization after completing 100 credit hours. This allows ample time to gain a foundational understanding of civil engineering before focusing on a specific area of expertise.
Each track is thoughtfully crafted to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills, preparing students for the challenges and opportunities in their chosen field of specialization.
