Admission Requirements for International Students
Shaqra University's Civil Engineering Program welcomes international students with a set of specific eligibility criteria to ensure a seamless admission process. Here are the key requirements for non-Saudi students:
- Educational Background: Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent, obtained either within or outside the Kingdom.
- Diploma Recency: The high school diploma should have been awarded no more than five years ago.
- Medical Fitness: Applicants must be medically fit.
- Assessment Compliance: Successful completion of any tests or interviews as required by the College Council.
- Good Standing: No history of academic or behavioral dismissal from any educational institution. False information leads to cancellation of acceptance.
- Scholarship Exclusivity: Must not be a recipient of another scholarship from an educational institution in the Kingdom.
- Aptitude Test: Required to have an aptitude test score.
- Specific Diploma: For Colleges of Engineering and Computer and Information Technology, a high school diploma is mandatory.
- Academic Performance: A minimum of 80% or more in the equivalent percentage is required.
- Composite Percentage: At least 85% in the composite percentage.
- Faculties of Education: A secondary school percentage of 85% or more is needed.
- Residency: The student must be a regular resident in the Kingdom.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 17 and 25 years old.
Required Documents for Application
- A copy of the high school diploma.
- A copy of the student's valid residence permit.
Important Note: Upon final acceptance, the original high school diploma and residence permit must be presented for verification.
