Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Quality Committees at the College Level:

  1. Develop the public policies for quality management at the college, and supervise on its implementation.

  2. Develop and approve the public policy for promoting the culture of quality inside and outside the college.

  3. Support the efforts exerted to apply the quality in the college, and cooperate with external entities in concern.

  4. Propose programs to encourage and reward the teams and individuals whom excel in applying the quality at the college.

  5. Approve the annual report of the quality management at the college level.

  6. Reinforce the concept of quality and promote its culture at the college level.

  7. Follow-up on the results of the performance evaluation at the college.

  8. Follow-up on the implementation of the evaluation and academic accreditation programs at the college.

  9. Follow-up on the preparation and implementation of the development and strategic plans of the college.

  10. Identify the specialized trainings needs of the faculty members in the academic departments of the college, and coordinate with the Deanship of University Development and Quality to implement them.

  11. Encourage the faculty members to participate in the courses, training programs and workshops offered by the Deanship of University Development and Quality, and other entities inside and outside the university.

  12. Handle other referred issues concerned with development and quality.

Responsibilities of the Quality Committees at the Program Level:

  1. Introduce the faculty members with the good practices of the standards of the National Authority for Evaluation and Accreditation.

  2. Offer evidences and documents concerned with the standards.

  3. Prepare files for the standards and document, categorize, and arrange them according to the proper practices.

  4. Use verification and measurement tools as per the standards.

  5. Plan and conduct the self-study for the programs through Standards Committees.

  6. Complete the qualifications form concerned with the standards.

  7. Prepare the self-study report.

  8. Prepare the annual report of the program.

  9. Ensure the preparation of the specification of the programs and courses as per the forms of the National Authority for Evaluation and Academic Accreditation.

  10. Ensure the preparation and fulfilment of the courses reports.

  11. Identify and propose the indicators concerned with the standards.

  12. Prepare the reference comparisons for the indicators.

  13. Submit recommendations to the Department Council in light of the reports results.

  14. Develop and implement the enhancement and development plans.

  15. Prepare and participate in the internal and external auditing visits.
