Vision, Message, and Goals
The basic science unit is looking forward to distinguishing, leading, and excellence in the field of education and research in the general and medical sciences, and preparing students for the basic concepts of the academic requirements by applying the accreditation and quality standards.
To prepare distinguished students in the basic sciences at a high level of scientific and practical efficiency; in order to contribute to the technical needs of the national industrial and scientific bodies and institutions; to meet the requirements of the labour market in the Kingdom and to contribute to the service of the community through a pioneer excellence in the applications of different environmental fields of basic sciences.
1 - Preparing excellent students, scientifically and intellectually, qualified at a high level to perform their duty in the service of the country.
2 – Establishing a distinguished scientific base for the basic sciences through its excellent materials and programs that meet the requirements of the international academic standards.
3 - Elevating the efficiency of the faculty staff members through continuous training and developing process.
4 - Preparing the students for the academic achievement and providing them with the necessary academic and study skills for studying the medical specialties.
5 - Knowledge of the basic sciences that qualify to study the medical courses.
6 - The student should be able to understanding and accommodating the principles of the basic science.
7 - Providing an environment conducive to learning and creativity in Mathematics.
8 - Organizing and implementing training courses for students in their various fields of science.
9 - Helping the student to integrate into the university community and actively participating in the cultural activities and developing the scientific research skills.
10 - Contributing in developing the the mental and personal characteristics of the student abilities and skills; so to be active when joining their different departments of the university.
