Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Quwayiyah

About Faculty

 The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Quwayiyah is one of the health colleges affiliated with Shaqra University. It was established pursuant to the Royal Decree No. (7305) dated 9/3/1430 AH, issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz – may Allah have mercy on him – which decreed the establishment of Shaqra University. The college then became part of the university’s educational system under its current name.

Since its inception, the college has been committed to actively contributing to the development of the healthcare sector by preparing highly qualified national professionals who are academically and practically competent to provide high-quality healthcare services that support the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 in the field of healthcare.

Currently, the college offers two undergraduate programs: the Medical Laboratory Sciences Program and the Nursing Program, in addition to two bridging programs in the same specialties for both male and female students. These programs aim to enhance the efficiency of healthcare practitioners and develop their professional and scientific skills.

The college is distinguished by its highly qualified faculty, modern educational facilities, and advanced clinical training programs that meet labor market needs and contribute to serving the local community and advancing the healthcare system in Al-Quway’iyah Governorate and neighboring regions.
