Vice Rectorate of the University was established with the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Chairman of the Higher Education Council, by royal telegraphic directive No. 7013/M B dated 9/28/1431 AH, based on the minutes of the fifty-ninth session of the Higher Education Council held on 4/26/1431 AH, and communicated to His Excellency the University President by letter from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education No. 55434 dated 10/16/1431 AH, in response to the letter from His Excellency the University President No. 52365/1/5 dated 2/19/1431 AH.
