Vice Deanship of Student Affairs
the Vice-Deanship works to provide distinguished student services, ensure their quality, and continuously develop them. It also supports gifted students and students with disabilities, provides financial aid, and organizes programs, activities, and competitions that enhance students’ skills and refine their abilities. The agency places special emphasis on following up on student-related issues and promoting a culture of student rights, in addition to coordinating with colleges and relevant entities to ensure integrated student support. It also works to establish training and development partnerships with educational institutions inside and outside the Kingdom.


Deanship of Student Affairs Agency for Student Activities
The Deanship of Student Affairs Agency for Student Activities works to build a stimulating and integrated university environment that contributes to the development of a balanced university student personality, through planning, implementing and supporting cultural, social, sports, artistic and voluntary programs and activities, which enhance the values ​​of citizenship, belonging and responsibility, develop leadership, creativity and teamwork skills among students, and contribute to achieving the university’s vision and mission of preparing a distinguished graduate academically, behaviorally and skillfully.


Deanship of Student Affairs Agency for Female Students
The Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students functions as an integrated administrative, educational, and technical unit. It directs its efforts and resources to serve the university’s female students. The vice deanship is committed to providing services that enrich students’ academic experience. It further plays a supportive and complementary role in the academic process. This is achieved through coordination and collaboration with the other vice deanships"
 

Units

  • Student Housing Administration
    The Student Housing Administration oversees the organization and management of student housing, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment that promotes discipline, comfort, and a positive university experience.


Unit Responsibilities:

  • Supervise housing services and facilities.

  • Ensure compliance with housing regulations and policies.

  • Organize social and cultural programs within housing areas.

  • Address behavioral or administrative issues among residents.

 

  • Student Rights Unit

The Student Rights Unit promotes awareness of student rights and responsibilities and monitors student cases to ensure fairness, equality, and the protection of students’ rights.

Unit Responsibilities:    

  • Receive and review student complaints according to approved policies.

  • Provide legal and procedural advice to students.

  • Conduct awareness campaigns on student rights and responsibilities.

  • Prepare regular reports on submitted student cases.

Support and supervise projects of gifted students.

Student Aid Unit

The Student Aid Unit provides financial assistance to eligible students, ensuring fairness and transparency in the distribution of support funds.Receive and evaluate applications for student aid and financial support.

  • Prepare regular reports on beneficiaries.

  • Coordinate with charitable and supporting institutions.

  • Ensure timely and proper distribution of financial aid.

    Competitions and Programs Unit The Competitions and Programs Unit organizes student events, competitions, and programs that enhance student skills and promote creativity and healthy competition

  • Develop an annual plan for student programs and competitions.

  • Implement activities in coordination with colleges and partners.

  • Evaluate programs and report on outcomes.

  • Encourage student participation in external competitions.

The Student Skills Development Unit
focuses on implementing training programs that enhance students’ leadership, professional, and personal skills, preparing them for the job market

  • Organize specialized workshops and training programs.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners for skill development.

  • Monitor and assess the impact of development programs.

  • Prepare reports on training outcomes and achievements.

     

  • University Guidance Administration

The administration provides academic, career, and social counseling services to male and female students, contributing to supporting them throughout their university journey and helping them achieve balance between their academic and personal lives

  • Provide academic, career, and social counseling services.

  • Organize academic, career, and university adjustment programs.

  • Follow up on cases requiring special support in coordination with relevant entities.

  • Prepare periodic reports on counseling activities and their outcomes.

     

  • Scholarship Student Management

It is concerned with following up on the affairs of internal and external scholarship students from the time they join the university until their graduation, and providing them with the necessary academic, social and cultural support to ensure their integration into the university environment and their achievement of academic and behavioral excellence.

  • Monitoring the affairs of internal and external scholarship students from their admission until graduation, and coordinating with relevant entities within and outside the university.

  • Providing academic, administrative, and social support to scholarship students to ensure the smooth running of their educational journey and their adaptation to the university environment.

  • Developing and implementing cultural, social, and volunteer programs for scholarship students to enhance their integration into the university community.

  • Overseeing services provided to scholarship students, such as housing, healthcare, and transportation, and addressing any difficulties they may encounter.

  • Organizing orientation meetings and programs for new scholarship students to familiarize them with university regulations, procedures, and available opportunities.

  • Promoting cultural and intellectual exchange between scholarship students and their peers from different colleges and nationalities.

     

  • Student Activities Unit
    It is concerned with planning, organizing and monitoring student programs and events inside and outside the university, with the aim of developing students’ skills, refining their talents and enhancing their national belonging and social responsibility.

  • Preparing the annual student activities plan in accordance with the university's directions and the objectives of the Deanship of Student Affairs.

  • Implementing and monitoring student cultural, social, artistic, and athletic programs and events in coordination with relevant entities within and outside the university.

  • Encouraging innovative student initiatives and providing the necessary support for their implementation to enhance positive student participation.

  • Evaluating implemented activities and events and submitting periodic reports on them to the relevant departments within the Deanship.

 

  • Student Clubs Unit
    It is concerned with organizing and managing student club affairs within the university, and supporting them to enable students to practice their activities and refine their skills in a stimulating and creative university environment.

  • Supervising student clubs and monitoring their activities to ensure compliance with university regulations and bylaws.

  • Receiving and reviewing applications for the establishment of student clubs and submitting recommendations to the relevant authority for approval.

  • Following up on the preparation and approval of annual plans for student clubs and reviewing their periodic progress reports.

  • Providing administrative, technical, and logistical support to student clubs to enable them to carry out their activities efficiently.

  • Scout unit
    It is concerned with organizing and managing the activities of scouting and rover teams within the university, in a way that contributes to developing the spirit of leadership, national belonging and community service among students.

  • Organizing and managing the activities of the Rover Scout troops within the university and overseeing their scouting and volunteer programs.

  • Preparing annual plans for scouting programs in coordination with the Student Activities Agency and relevant departments.

  • Recruiting and registering members of the Rover Scout troops and equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge for scouting.

  • Conducting scouting training courses in the areas of leadership, discipline, community service, and environmental protection.

  • Coordinating the participation of Rover Scout troops in national events and scouting camps both within and outside the university.

  • Community Service Management
    It is concerned with planning and implementing programs and initiatives that promote the participation of university students in community service and the development of a spirit of volunteerism and national belonging.

  • Developing the annual plan for community programs and initiatives in line with the university's vision and strategic objectives.

  • Implementing volunteer initiatives and events that contribute to community service and foster a sense of social responsibility among students.

  • Promoting a culture of volunteerism and national belonging through awareness programs and national and community engagement.

  • Building ongoing partnerships and collaborations with governmental, non-governmental, and charitable organizations to implement joint projects with a societal impact.

  • Forming, training, and guiding student volunteer teams to participate in various programs and events.
    Managing and documenting volunteer hours and implemented programs, and issuing periodic reports and statistics on student participation.

  • Student Skills Development Unit


    It is concerned with designing and implementing training programs and courses that contribute to developing students’ personal, academic and professional skills, and preparing them for the labor market.

  • Developing and implementing the annual plan for training programs aimed at enhancing students' personal, academic, and professional skills.

  • Identifying students' training needs in collaboration with relevant colleges and departments.

  • Organizing courses, workshops, and seminars that promote leadership, entrepreneurship, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  • Developing students' life and practical skills to prepare them for the job market and enable their active participation in society.

  • Establishing partnerships with training providers and specialized institutions to offer high-quality development programs for students.

  • Reporting and Completion Unit

  • It is concerned with monitoring and documenting the performance of the agency’s units and programs, and preparing periodic and annual reports that highlight the Deanship’s achievements in the areas of student activities and services.

  • Preparing periodic and annual reports on the achievements of the Student Activities Agency and its various units.

  • Monitoring the implementation of approved plans and programs, analyzing progress rates, and regularly updating performance indicators.
    Collecting and documenting data and outputs related to student events and activities from all units within the agency.

  • Preparing statistical and visual presentations highlighting the achievements of the Deanship and its units for official meetings and gatherings.

  • Participating in the preparation of the Deanship's reports submitted to the university administration and national reports related to student activities.

     

  • Student Activities Unit – Female Section
    It is concerned with planning, organizing and monitoring student programs and events inside and outside the university, with the aim of developing students’ skills, refining their talents and enhancing their national belonging and social responsibility.
    • Prepare and implement the annual plan for training programs aimed at developing students’ personal, academic, and professional skills.
    • Identify the training needs of students in cooperation with colleges and relevant departments.

  • Student Services Unit – Female Section
    The Student Services Unit – Female Section focuses on providing university services for students in line with modern technology. It aims to save students’ time and ensure efficient performance while maintaining quality and improving work processes.
    Provide educational and psychological support for students.
    • Create an encouraging and supportive environment for students.
    • Offer all services for students with special needs.
    • Supervise housing and nutrition services.
    • Address academic and social problems that students may face.
    • Follow up on disciplinary cases and contribute to resolving students’ issues.
    • Supervise social care services for students in need through the Student Fund.

    Dialogue Corner 

    The Dialogue Corner focuses on promoting a culture of dialogue within the university environment. It trains  students in effective dialogue skills across various topics that are especially relevant to youth. 

  • Strengthen personal and social skills that support the intellectual development of university students. Enable students to practice effective dialogue skills such as active listening, impactful speaking, and constructive discussion.

  •  Provide proper platforms for meaningful intellectual dialogue, allowing students to discuss national, social, cultural, and political issues.

  •  Empower students to become active participants in evaluating their surroundings and engaging in decisions related to their affairs.

  •  Build students’ self-confidence, strengthen their sense of identity, and enhance their intellectual, behavioral, and ethical creativity
    Quality Unit
    The Quality Unit monitors the implementation of the deanship’s strategic plan. It establishes quality standards to be applied to the activities, services, and support programs offered by the deanship. The unit also evaluates and develops performance levels in these areas. In addition, it conducts studies and research to assess the deanship’s operations, ensuring performance quality and achievement of institutional goals. It provides technical support and assistance to all departments of the deanship to enhance their overall performance.

    The Editing and Publishing Unit is responsible for scientific and methodological review. It conducts linguistic proofreading of reports, publications, and announcements to ensure they are presented in the ideal form for publication.


    • Improve the quality of the deanship’s outputs. The unit reviews reports, publications, and announcements scientifically and linguistically to ensure their quality before publication.
    • Prepare and design periodic publications and advertising campaigns that accompany activities and programs.
    • Develop editing and publishing processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of publication"
    Statistics Unit    The Statistics Unit is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data and statistics related to students and student activities. The unit aims to provide accurate information that supports decision-making and contributes to the development of student services.
