Shaqra University held a celebration marking the 95th Saudi National Day under the slogan "Our Pride is in Our Nature" on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, under the patronage of the University President, Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Saif, in the main lobby of the University Administration Building at the University City.
The ceremony was attended by the University Vice Presidents, members of the University Council, as well as a number of university staff and students, in a patriotic atmosphere that reflected feelings of pride and belonging.
The celebration featured an accompanying exhibition highlighting the Kingdom's journey and developmental achievements, alongside informational booths in which the university's deanships and colleges participated, showcasing their initiatives and projects aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
In his speech delivered on this occasion, Dr. Ali Al-Saif affirmed that the National Day represents an everlasting memory of the unification of the Kingdom at the hands of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud — may his soul rest in peace — noting that this day is an occasion to reinforce the values of loyalty and belonging, and to reflect on the achievements realized for the nation across various fields.
Al-Saif added that the University strives to contribute to the national development journey by developing its academic and research programs and honing its students' skills to meet the needs of the labor market.
The University President extended his congratulations on this occasion to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz — may Allah protect them — praying to Almighty Allah to perpetuate security, safety, prosperity, and flourishing for the Kingdom.
A number of university students participated in the ceremony's segments, while the accompanying exhibition received significant engagement from attendees, who expressed their admiration for what was presented.
