Introduction to the program

This program aims to encourage and support distinguished scientific publishing for faculty members in the Web of Science in order to raise the rates of scientific publishing on behalf of the university and to encourage and support distinguished scientific publishing for faculty members in the Web of Science. The Program supports publishing within scientific journals ranked within the Web of Science based on the Average JIF percentages (AJIFP) with financial rewards according to the quality of the paper through four specific categories (Detailed in the manual below alongside with the program terms and conditions):

 Program Goals

• Contribute to achieving one of the objectives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 vision regarding raising the ranking of Saudi universities among the top 200 universities in the world.
• Contribute to increasing the number of research published in high-impact international journals.
• It also contributes to increasing the citation rate of the university and faculty members.

Application steps

• Access the scientific research platform via the link (Dsrprograms.su.edu.sa).
• Log in using the data used to log into the “Maken” system.
• Click on Scientific Publishing Support Programs.
• Choose the appropriate program for research.
• Fill out all required fields.
• Attach the scientific paper + the journal citation report from the “Clarivate” website + the appointment decision to the rank of assistant professor or higher or the contract for non-Saudis.
• Submit the order.
