• Introduction

The rules regulating research groups were approved by University Council Resolution No. 3/6/43 and supported by His Excellency the Minister of Education on 13/06/1443 AH, which was presented by the Deanship of Scientific Research with the aim of organizing the establishment of research teams that would enhance the exchange of research experiences and facilitate the exchange of research experiences. Continuing the work of researchers and enabling them to establish local and international research partnerships, and based on the keenness of Shaqra University to advance and develop research and transfer expertise, develop and continue it among faculty members and researchers and graduate students of the like, which will reflect positively on society and achieve the Kingdom’s vision 2030, which aspires to increase competitiveness The Kingdom and the classification of universities through interest in the field of research and development.

• Objectives of establishing the Research Group

1. Create an integrated research environment to increase the university's balance of high-quality research.
2. Create the appropriate environment for cooperation and exchange of experiences between researchers locally and internationally.
3. Advance scientific research by creating a suitable environment for cooperation between faculty members, graduate students and researchers.
4. Promoting interdisciplinary research between different disciplines inside and outside the university.
5. Support research partnerships between distinguished researchers and local and international sectors.
6. Supporting and facilitating research work to enhance the quality of scientific output at the university.
