The Professional Development Department aims to develop and enhance the performance of faculty members, recognizing that faculty members are the cornerstone of the educational process and the primary driver of change. This is achieved by equipping them with the skills, cognitive competencies, and behavioral attributes necessary to fulfill their diverse roles. The Department’s ability to achieve these objectives depends on the collaboration of all relevant entities within the University, particularly colleges, in developing its plans and implementing its activities. Such collaboration will positively contribute to the quality of education and the excellence of educational outcomes.
