The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Quway'iyah holds a cultural training visit to schools in the governorate

As part of smart community partnerships with the Education Department in Al-Quway'iyah, the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Girls' Section, held an educational training activity at the Third Intermediate and Secondary School for Girls in Al-Quway'iyah Governorate. A number of students participated in the activity. The activity included:

An introduction to diabetes, risk factors, symptoms that indicate diabetes and early detection to avoid complications resulting from it, types of diabetes and their blood levels, treatment, and prevention. Blood sugar levels were tested, and appropriate health advice was provided to the participants.

Nutritional awareness – including healthy foods, both organic and non-organic – Some diseases related to nutrition and lifestyle, such as allergies associated with certain types of food.
