Aspiring to achieve exemplary, high-quality services that provide a comfortable and productive educational and work environment.
The Services and Maintenance Department is committed to continuously developing the services provided to the University’s employees. These services include cleaning, landscaping, and maintenance. In pursuit of the highest standards of service and to benefit from modern and electronic technologies, the Department has implemented a sequential technical coding system for University buildings, locations, and facilities. It has also developed an electronic reporting system to facilitate employees’ access to services as quickly as possible.
The system enables direct communication between the person submitting a report and the building supervisor, while allowing the Department to receive daily reports on submitted requests. The Department has also established a quarterly schedule covering the following activities: weekly works, weekly cleaning, emergency maintenance, preparation of payment statements, distribution of cleaning supplies, loading and unloading, and receiving service reports.
In addition, the Services and Maintenance Department has assigned supervisors across all governorates and defined the responsibilities of each supervisor. It has also established dedicated communication channels in each governorate for receiving reports, complaints, and suggestions aimed at improving the services provided by the Department in a manner that reflects the University’s standards and status.
